I lived and worked for years in Nepal, Vietnam, and Mali; then I worked for years at National Geographic, The Asia Society, and Ogilvy. I did not start trying to be an artist or a children’s writer until I was 39 years old. It was a big change.

Please note: unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for water damage incurred in your home. In particular, watercolors are extremely sensitive to moisture, and I work hard to ensure that my pieces are protected. When shipping, I take painstaking costs to make the artwork watertight.
