  • I work with UPS to carefully pack and ship each piece of artwork with tracking. Insurance is available upon request for added peace of mind. Please provide a shipping address where someone will be available to receive the package.

  • I love working with clients to make bespoke projects—from children’s books to birth announcements. Contact me and we can discuss the project over email, phone, or Zoom—whichever is easiest for you.

  • I have no kids, no pets, and no plants. I have my art and my writing—they are my babies and I give them my all.

  • No. I studied cultural anthropology at Carleton College and Cornell University. I lived and worked for years in Nepal, Vietnam, and Mali; then I worked for years at National Geographic, The Asia Society, and Ogilvy. I did not start trying to be an artist or a children’s writer until I was 39 years old. It was a big change.

  • I want all of my customers to be deliriously happy with their order. If there is a problem and you would like to make a return, please reach out within 1 month and I will make it right.

    Please note: unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for water damage incurred in your home. In particular, watercolors are extremely sensitive to moisture, and I work hard to ensure that my pieces are protected. When shipping, I take painstaking costs to make the artwork watertight.
